mason jars have more fun
I really wasn't kidding in my last post when I said I was incorporating more balance into my life. Every since my juice cleanse/smoothie experience (see previous post), I have been trying more and more natural, nutritious, healthful foods to balance out my ever-indulging, not so healthful habits. Believe it or not, those two food groups can and have been co-exisiting in my diet ever since. TBD on how long it's going to last.
One of the more unique set of nutritious foods I've added to my diet lately have been delivered from Indie Fresh. Honestly, they first caught my attention with their mason jar packaging. I have always been drawn to using mason jars as décor in my apartment, but never considered putting food in them. But this is quite the game changer -- making the food delivery experience so fresh and exciting! Not to mention, after eating delicious food, I get free mason jars to decorate my apartment with and/or use as drinking glasses.
Beyond the jars, all of their food is nutrient-dense, gluten/sugar/dairy-free, with plenty of options for vegans, carnivores, and everyone in between. In my first order, I chose mainly breakfast foods. Favorites were the blueberry cayenne smoothie, acai protein jar, and pancakes with eggs & sausage. It was my first time for gluten free pancakes and I couldn't believe how good they were. Now I'm addicted and want them for breakfast everyday.
What's also cool is that all my followers can get a discount. Use my code SATISFEED to get 50% your first order. This stuff is reasonably priced to begin with, so I highly urge you to take advantage! Go to www.indiefresh.com to check out the menu and place your order. Let me know what you think!
Seriously can't wait for my next order. I'm thinking about trying their paleo burgers and salads... Stay tuned for those pictures! In the meantime, check out the highlights from my first order below.
