uh huh honey deuce
Andrea (blogger behind A Slice o' Pi) and I threw a US Open Kick-Off party on Monday night. We both love any excuse to host a party and wanted to do something fun yet inexpensive with friends on an otherwise boring weekday. Like many of you, we are both super busy during the week so we wanted to make the prep as light and easy as possible. If we were able to bring the US Open to my tiny NYC apartment, you can too. Here's how simple it was:
1. HONEY DEUCES: Grey Goose vodka, Natalie's Orchid Island Lemonade, Chambord raspberry liqueur, crushed ice, honey melons for garnish.
2. EATS: tortilla chips, potato chips, pita chips, queso, tzatziki dip, french onion dip, creme brulee macarons, grapes, cherry mozzarella, green olives, gouda cheese, and sausage. P.S. I ordered it all from MaxDelivery.com and it was delivered within the next hour.
3. DECOR: table cloth and balloons from Party City, Sugarpova tennis gum balls, tennis ball toothpicks, Dear Keaton neon tray set and Yvette serving tray.
4. OUTFITS: Andrea wore a Lacoste Polo Dress and I wore a Tory Sport Tennis Dress.
